Kindly help me. I want to revise return of fy 2009-10 which is filed on due date manually. But data of this return is not loaded on income tax site so how can i revise this return online

Income Tax Act do not prohibit filing online revised return against a orignal paper return filed earlier. But the practical problem is that online network of income tax department do not find details of orignal return filed in hard copy as details of orignal return filed yet to punch in department net work data. When you try to file revised online return it searches detail of orignal return filed which is not find and error communicated to you.
In such a situation it is better to file revised return in hard copy.

Return should be revised in the same way as it was originally filed. In your case manually filed original return can be revised manually. |
