Dear Members,
A works contract done for Airports, Railways etc., are exempt under Service tax for both the main and sub-contractor. Please tell me whether similar exemption is available under TN VAT Act.

Dear Nagarajan,
Similar provision is not there in TNVAT.
Any works contract service provided by a dealer is taxable under TNVAT act.
