If Expenditure is Rs. 1,000/-
Rate of TDS = 10%
Amount paid = 900
TDS = 100
Total Exp 1,000
1. when settlement of Expenditure:
Expenditure A/c Dr. 1,000
To TDS 100
To Cash 900
2. when TDS is paid to the Govt.
TDS Dr. 100
To cash 100
