I am writing my exams under the old syllabus. I've given 4 attempts, I still don't feel like I'm learning much new things, irrespective of checking all video classes, classes attended directly, study materials and practise manual. But my marks increase and decrease drastically!
If there's someone who has cleared after few attempts, please share what was the one thing you had concentrated on more ?

Focus on one type on notes/material..
Do not try to learn things even from 2 different materials..
As language and presentation method change from material to material and teacher to teacher..
And you will be blank in exams..
So Focus on one..

I just say..
.CA is abt confidence....and this time ur confidence are very low.....so first u take 2 day to think that wht mistake u HV done in last exams....then prepare ur self. .and my dear always...do one thing this time whenever u finish any chapter....then u take exam my own....asking some qus...from that chapter....it will slowly slowly give u confidence......all the best for ur exam

I have cleared my Group 1 in my third attempt.
The major thing that changed my result was paper writing practice. I noted that the level of my answers in theory exams was not upto the level ICAI requires. So, I made it a point to write 1 or 2 answers of each theory chapter and compare them with the practice manual. Gradually, my answers started improving. I the final exam, I was not able to attempt the complete paper (which I strongly advise one must), still I scored enough to pass as the answers I had written were high-yield.
