I am planning to start my own retail garment business. What kind of taxation registration would be required for One person Company? VAT or TIN or TAN or what else?

If u want to buy garments from outside ur state and to sell the same in ur state as well as to dealers of other states then u r required to take Shops & Establishments Registration, VAT & Cst registration. However if u buy and sell goods locally and are selling it to ultimate consumers locally then it is voluntary for u to take vat and cat registration till ur turnover reaches Rs 10 lac.

and tan, if u r liable to deduct tds...
