1. To have confidence in practical subjects; make your notes about each chapter by writing chronological steps with some theory parts. You will think that it is time consuming but actually it is time saving in your exam preparations days.
2. Mark typical questions with one * when you read it for the first time. When you refer it for second time and still find some difficulties; mark it with one more *. In this way you can proceed further.
3. Also mark the page numbers in the Index of the Book regarding questions mentioned in point no. 2.
4. When you complete one chapter of a practical subject; revise it immediately. It will hardly take half an hour. Before going to bed, read all the materials which you covered in the day. It will take maximum half an hour to revise the whole day's study. (Three revisions completed in a day).
5. Make another revision of the material after one week specially on Sunday. Don't read any new thing on Sunday. With the help of Marked Index Page you can revise the whole syllabus. Refer only those matters in the book which you find somewhat difficult. (Fourth Revision completed).
Caution:
Don't leave typical questions unsolved. For time being you can skip but try to solve them with the help of others. If you don't follow it; such 10 questions are enough to shake your confidence in the subject at the time of examinations.
Specially in CA examinations; you will find that these 10 questions are generally asked !
Some Practical Tips :
1. First of all; create interest in the subject you study. If you can do this; you will be able to keep the contents in your memory.
2. After reading a para; ask yourself what you have understood. (Don't skip theory part of practicals at any cost).
3. Raise some numerical questions to yourself after reading the theory part of a practical subject (Form your own questions in simple language). Answer it. Now match it with some examples given in the book. You will require lesser time to solve more practicals.
4. Analytical study mentioned in Point No. 3 will do a lot to get easy success in the professional exams.
