Could anyone please tell me how long it will take to process the PAN registration application by the NSDL when i completed the online registration?
If you do not get the question, i shall explain.
The documents at the online registration are to be sent by post to Pune for NSDL processings, suppose the time to receive it there is 2 days and the time to return the PAN card to me is another 2 days, then how long is the processing time by the NSDL?

for pan registration - you have to visit the NSDL franchise, with your original pan card / xerox copy and two copies of print out if application for registration, and after their submission adfter paying requisite fees, it takes 3 working days maximum to activate your registration.

i guess you are referring to PAN application, and it takes 2 weeks time normally, you can check your application status at NSDL site.

Normally if PAN Application is submitted online than it will take around 3 weeks. Moreover after sending the documents to NSDL by post they update their status that is they have received the documents after 1 week. After 4-5 days they update their status as your application is under process at Income Tax Department.

At that point it will take around 1 week and after that status will show your PAN no and after 4-5 days it shows the dispatch details.
