As you Know during our articleship we often had to travel to far flung places and even outstation. Generally it takes 1.5 - 2 hrs. (on one side) to travel to industries due to distances and traffic congestion.
These hrs. spent on travelling are no where accounted and ultimately a student had to suffer in form of reduced hrs for study.
We students respect the rules & laws of our great institute but at the same time expect a reasonable and sincere approach from Institute towards student fraternity.
These Hrs. should be included in the " time served in articleship " since the travel is done for sole purposes of audit ( training) .
I have already wrote to Secretary of ICAI and this has been forwarded to higher authorities for action.
