what is the time limit for filling revised income tax return for ay 2019 -2020??

Actually the last date for revised return for ay 19-20 is 31st March 2020 but now it is extended to 30th November 2020

31 March 2020 was last date for filing revised return for AY 19-20

Thank you but now 30th nov has also expired.. so do any other options exist.. intimation u/s 143 (1) has also been received earlier...?

You should try to check whether revised return is possible for that acknowledgement number which is given in intimation u/s 143(1) it might attract penalty

How to check that.. ? and in the return there is no demand exist.. the heading for house rent allowance was only wrongly selected which is mentioned in the intimation...

No.. this query relates to ay 2019-20 and the assessee has not revised it neither, nor responded to intimation which came on 8.12.2019..

You should try to file revised return for that matter in itr form by selecting revised return and by indicating the intimation reference number in the return but i think penalty should be imposed

If the date of revised return is expired could it be corrected u/s 154?

Revised return for a. y 2019-20 can be filed only up-to 30th November 2020. now the options left are either to file rectification under 154 or appeals before cit(appeals) or revision petition under 264 before jurisdictional CIT

Since the intimation is received in December 20 therefore according to me it can be rectified if possible

On site there's neither 139(5) nor sec 154 is taking.. only sec 119(2)(b) is appearing.. so can anyone tell me how to download it .. it is no where appearing in site of return filling...
