Time limit for adding additional place of business

Dear sir,

we change one of our business place but still not add new place on gst portal. whats is the time limit for adding additional place of busineess under GST

There is no time limit for adding or changing business address.

I started the business at new place but did not add that in gst, is it okay?

Yes it's ok if you got the ARN for filed application for New place business.

But we already started the business activity 25 days ago and today we generate the ARN

Although there is no such time limit to add any additional place in your GST Registration. Still if you don't add it and continue to do the business without informing to GST Authorities it will be considered as a malafide intention and it might attract General Penalty u/s 125.

So, it would be better that you add it as soon as possible to avoid any extra amount of liability of Penalty.

In case the change is for legal name of the business, or the State of place of business or additional place of business, the taxable person will apply for amendment within 15 days of the event necessitating the change. The proper officer, then, will approve the amendment within next 15 days.
