Time for eye care  

As exams are over ,so now we have free time.So atleast try to devote 20 minutes everyday from now.So lets start what we must do,which we don’t really do ….

 

Blinking ------ 

 

  • It s more than important thing, that we usually avoid .It really helps in relaxing muscles of  eyes. So try to blink your eyes more than often . Otherwise eyes will become dry.

 

Washing eyes ------

 

  • Atleast wash your eyes 100 times in water.
  • Never wash your eyes with lukewarm water. As it damages the eyes.
  • U can even use gooseberry (amla) or harar daal water for washing your eyes.

 

Eye drops -----  

 

  • Use only doctor prescribed eye drops
  • Not any fake eyedrops which can cause problems.

 

Food -------

  • You can eat  almond and sauf daily to increase your vision.
  • You can also eat amla powder for increasing your eye sight.

 

Concentration -------

 

  • It becomes too hard to concentrate on  any thing na ? try something new
  • See yourself in mirror and concentrate then .
  • You might have remembered the game of blinking eyes with friends.
  • It is a part of TRATAK too.
  • Remember close your eyes before you get tears in your eyes.
  • If you don’t do so …..u cant get the whole benefits of your concentration.

 

Exercise -------

 

  • The most interesting point, even I love this part.
  • Just close your one eye with one hand
  • And then take a ball and catch the ball with another hand.
  • Totally enjoyable + relaxing part is also done along with it.

 

Relaxing part -----

 

  • Do anulom –vilom pranayam .
  • Start the breath in 1:1 ratio.
  • You need to reach the ratio of  1:2:4
  • Means …till the count of  1you need to take the breath and then 2 seconds to hold the same and then at the count of 4 release your breath.

 

Spa Treatment -----

 

  • Actually relaxation is incomplete until it cant be felt.
  • You can soak cotton pad in chilled water and apply them on eyes.
  • You can do the same with potato and cucumber slices or juice.
  • It reduces the eye strain and also the dark circles around eyes.

 

Hopefully these tips may help. Well there are many things and ways to take care of eyes and it is just a drop of that ocean . any  kind of  suggestions  are always welcomed .
