An appx clear count is 1.6 Mins for 1 mark, which will leave you with appx 15 - 20 mins margin which will cover your loss of time in thinking, & framing of answer & diff in speed of writing within the 180 mins

Its 170min /100 marks = 1.7 min for 1 mark
Then for 15 marks u can take 1.7*15 = 25 approx or if u can finish faster for 15 marks say 20 min then u save 5 min which can be used for 20 mks que for which 20 * 1.7 = 34 min are avialable
Use this trick it will surely help for 5 mks u take 5*1.7 = 8 min ok if u have 2 mks que like in audit then finish them in 20 min u will save future time

Mr Ankit before making any remarks like waste of time or even answering to any question Pls understand the question properly, this habit will be useful even when you are reading your exam paper to submit your answer there in. Here the question was of time management in exam & not time management planning during studies for which you have answered the query
Dear Friends,
Trying to allot marks for each question would not be a fruitful experience in paper like costing. There are abt 5 questions to answer with 3 subtopics totallin 15 questions in all. Instead of goin problem wise I would suggest u take the exam into six parts of 1/2 hour each. Try to analyse the progress at the end of each 1/2 hr and comparing the marks answered. say for eg: 15 marks completed in ist part. Try to ensure u have no more than 15 marks in the last phase cos u would be really tense. try to adjust the timin in between the 2nd and 5th phase depending on the questions.

Its not necessry that u should devote ur time based on marks. There may be some Ques, say of 8 marks u can solve in 5-8 mins, some may take 15-20 mins. Its all depend upon ur performance in particular Ques and its length. However u may decide Timelimit for a particular Ques.
