There is a huge demand for Chartered Accountants (CA) and it is estimated that India will require another 5 lakh CAs by 2020.
This was stated by C A Shanmukh Sundaram, chairman of Southern India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (SIRC of ICAI) here this Wednesday

this is just a trick to trap youngsters in CA course
Friends its funny to hear qualified people saying unemployed. the main reason behind giving higher results is just to make youngsters take up practise. i know intial stage it will be hard. but it will be great if all people unemployed joined together and start a firm. u r CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS guys not a normal degree holder. its not rule that all firms must be run by old people. v can deliver more quality than them.

Well friends no offence but it is really difficult to find job as a CA Fresher.
CA Firms are offering peanuts and taking undue advantage of thier own fellow brothers as they to are aware of huge quantity of jobless CA's in the market. The worst case is that CA firm wants to trap up fresh CA. by offering job at peanuts and taking commitments to stay in the firm for at least 2-3 years.
The Corporate sector is also not showing up rosy pictures anytime soon. Recession hiting the world and india one can only pray that worse go by swiftly.
On personal note i would like to say that i dind't join this profession to see thisf days for my fellow members and me.
ICAI ONLY PAISA KAMANE KI SOCH RAHA HAI. CA BANNE KE BAAD BHI STUDENTS KI GOOD JOBS NAHI MIL RAHI HAI....
