Yes the Course Fee despite being subsidized is not a small amount for a newly qualified.
Still I'm of the view that all of us who are going to participate in this 3 mnths prog. shall definitely be benefited from it. Since ours is a distant learning course and issues like Strategic Planning, Developing Personal traits were rarely ever addressed before in the manner it is being done now. i.e. by a 3 mnths residential prog. at a management Institute.
And it has also come to my notice that firms like KPMG are recruiting MBA's at 10lakh and above however newly qualified CA's are given initial package of 3.5-6 lakh only because MBA's are way ahead of us as far as soft skills are concerned. But the scene shall soon change once the CA students take on this 3 mnths prog sincerely.
SO I THINK IT's a WELCOME MOVE FROM ICAI.

According to me it is highly subsidized but still somewhat costly.......
