In this connection, let me tell you a real-life story, dear Friends. Those were the days when I had been trying hard to get into Government Service; and on one such exam (Preliminaries), I met a young man in the examination hall. He was super-cool. Profound jealousy crept in me thinking that he must be heavily prepared.
So I asked him, leaving aside my book for a moment, "I wish I could be as prepared as you."
“What made you think like that?"
"Your calmness and over all behavior. In my two-years’ exam-hall experience I have seen none so firmly assured of himself", the Psychologist in me replied with some conviction.
“Follow my technique and you'll be like me."
This boy is a direct representative of God and he is on a mission to rescue me from my unemployment, I hoped. Tears of gratitude were just beginning to make a beeline when I asked him, “Please tell me the technique which will make me just as prepared."
"Simple", the Angel said. “First make sure that out of the four options you eliminate two. More often than not, you can do that."
"Fantastic!!! Half the battle is won!”, I thought.
"Next", he continued with a poise of a Saint," have this ". It was a 2-Rupee coin. I was somewhat rattled. What on earth has this circular piece of metal to do with exam-preparation? In came the confusion-remover, “Toss it. Now that you have narrowed your option down to two answers, trust your intuition and the Almighty. Give preference to intuition though.”
During the last two hours, I had little time to try the God-send suggestion as the Paper was easy for me. But I heard the chinking of a coin once or twice.
