Termination of articles

Greetings of the day...!!

I have my articles getting terminated in mid march and have some excess leave which is not calculated exactly. I do not want to serve my excess leave period under my present principal since i wish to learn something different now. My Query is that - can i serve my excess leave under other principal of other firm, - What forms on date of termination needs to be submitted on to ICAI, - verify if the following calculations are correct or not -

Total No. of days during articleship (PCC) - 1278 Days of leave taken - 296 Less - Days of exams (15days * 3 attempts) - (45) 251 Actual period served - 1027 Leaved earned (1/6th of actual period served) 171 ( 1027/6) Leave taken (251) Excess leave 80 days -

If there arises any disputes between me and principal who would be the addressing authority. Please clarify the same at the earliest.

dont worry..... U can serve ur extention period wit othr principal.... U jst need to submit form 108 & re-registr urslf wit new principal by fillin 102 & 103. Possibility of dispute is quiet less as on completion u hav 2 submit eithr 108 for termination or 107 to serve extention undr same principal. So its jst he might force u to submit 107 or if he is nt aware of this form then u can easily go ahead with 108. Once its confirm frm icai that ur articleshp has been terminated on submission of form 108 the presnt principal can do nothin.

agree with vikas.

But u hav to take written permission of ur prinicipal that u want to terminate, as ICAI ask so, in the period of articleship.

Can i take dummy from present employer and do my remaining articleship with another employer????????

If your principal is ready and if it is less than a year of your articleship, you should take transfer.

Your query is also possible all off records.
