I had filed income rax returns of my clients for AY 2022-23 and had claimed tds on property or deposits made in the return as same was reflected in form 26AS. however dept has not considered the said tds and raised an demand. I had filed an online grievance regarding this non- consideration of tds , but dept is not looking at it.
please provide your valuable advice and let me know if anyone has come across such cases.
Buyer of property is not eligible for tds on property purchase and only seller get the benefits..
