Hi All,

Currently central government introduced TDS Under GST.

My question as said over the bill of 250000 1+1 as SGST and CGST should deducte a TDS

But my question-

If i make purchase or take professional service over or not over 250000

Should i deduct both 2% or 10% TDS and GST?

As far as GST is concerned you should deduct 2% only if it exceeds 250000. But from income tax angle, you should deduct 10% if it exceeds 30000

If the value is greater than 2.5 lac and GST has been charged then GST-TDS is deducted. TDS under income tax is separate compliance. Or, both are deducted.
