As per the new TDS rule 194LAA to be applicable w.e.f. October 01, 2012 TDS needs to be deducted by transferee on considereation for sale of immoveable property as specified.
The question is whether it is applicable on sale of flats by builder / developer and the flat owner needs to deduct the TDS of the Company and pay it to the government.
