27 July 2013One of the client has accounted interior work under furnitures & Fittings .As the bill contain seperately vat and service tax, whether tds to be deducted on labour charges if amount is capitalised.Please provide reference any case laws.

TDS u/s 194C or 194J will be applicable. 194C because labour is used in carrying out the interior work. 194J because the payment is made to an architect for professional services rendered.
