I am submited a TDS challan online by 12/07/2013. This is only one challan for my 1st QTR TDS return. But it is not updated by 15/07/2013 and for that I am not able to generated fvu file for upload my TDS return.

Now if I submitted TDS return on 16/07/2013 then late fee of Rs. 200/- will deposited with this return or It will deposited latter on. If we deposit late fee at bank today through net banking then challan may be updated after two or three days. Then same problem occured.

Please advice

Dear Mr. Sekhar you mis-understood the concept of downloading the challan file compulsorily and verifying the file with the downloaded challans.

This does not mean that the challans you entered must tally with the challan you downloaded.

It's only to caution Or to convince the filer hmiself/herself before filing .

In your case if you can be sure of yourself that the challans you entered are 100% correct. you can go ahead. (For your information- without leaving the challan file blank you can download CIN file of a different TAN No. and OR for a different period of the same TAN No. Then you get error message saying that the challans you entered are not presentin the downloaded file. The also you can file the return.)

What I am trying to say is the obligation to download the CIN file is to ensure that the cahallan details entered are perfectly correct. O.K...... ...............................
