Tds return query

plz help me in the following situation:-

A person had filed the return of Form 24Q4 granting Agriculture Income rebate to hsi employees.

Now a notice had been issued by the ITO TDS that the said exemption is disallowed.

Is there any method to revise the return to save the tax or we have to deposit the amount shown as default by the ITO

Please help me in this regard.

Hi Vanya,

In respect of TDS Returns, you can Revise the return quoting the Original Acknowlegdement Number.

If liability has been imposed by the ITO, then how can you reduce it just by revising your return?

Anyways, you can revise the return, that's no problem.
