Hie Friends,
A Government office (which is not subject to assessment) has failed to file it's TDS Return for the last Quarter within May-15th, now is it liable to pay the panality u/s 234E @ Rs.200/- per each day of default ?

Yes absolutely levied, and many govt office faced the notice for late filing.
