A defualt (fy09-10) interest was paid and the challan was updated in return however it is shown as match pending
in tds/tcs efilling status but shown matched under OLTAS the RPU also shows unmatched kindly provide the reasons
and also explain the significance of interest and others column shown again at the end of the challan sheet in RPU.
you must have select the minor code 400
go to ao and request him/her to change the minor code to 200
your challan will be booked
sir we have paid the interest through challan 281 under section 194h following this challan interest option is selected on bank's site.
minor code selected by you is 200 or 400????
There will be mostly two reasons for mismatch in challan
1.Amount wrongly mentioned
Please check what is the amount as per challan which should be matching with the OLTAS.. and Amount given in return.
2.CIN wrongly mentioned in the return
Please check whether you mentioned proper Challan No , Challan Date and BSR code...
In your case it looks you are able check in the OLTAS and also matching then check for BSR code..
