PAN error and details of tax paid of the deductee can be modified. You cannot modify the personal details of the deductees in TRACES site.

what details do you want to update or modify? Because some details requires DSC of the authorised person.
Keep DSC ready, register DSC with traces login, after registration success once logout and login traces. Goto request for correction in defaults tab, select statement for and submit request. After that view corrections in process and select requested statement. Click on and validate DSC, select add or modify deductee details..go ahead
