TDS was to be deducted for the month of May, 2017 but same was paid in the month of march 2018 ... please advice Return period applicability.... its quarter ending june 2017 or its quarter ending March 2018?

Return Period is June 2017.
If it was required to be deducted in May 17 then return would be filed for period ending June 2017
