11 August 2011if we have revised TDS return of previous quarters........,then TDS certificates should also be changed. now the question is that the DATE and RECIEPT NUMBER wiil be of original return or revised return on new TDS certificates?

Ref s-139... but revised return will be treated as final return and not original return.

The department is tracking your tds return by your original receipt number & date & at the time of revising the tds return its needs original receipt no & date mentioned in the return.
So In form 16/16A original receipt no & date is to be mentioned.
Whatever corrections made in the revised return can be easily viewed with the help of original receipt no.
