one of my client having the TDS receivable with department regarding previous year so I have a query how to claim previous year TDS amount

For FY 2018-19, you can file ITR and claim TDS.

For any earlier years, you have to get permission from ITO/JCIT u/s. 119(2)(b) to file return of relevant year.
