tds rates for f.y. 2006-07 & 2007-08
I have not paid TDS for a company for the month of september due to some errors now i have to pay it after the duedates will i face any consequential penalties in form of interest for such delayings?

yes, intrest @ applicable rates.
I think you should pay off that tds with 1% interest pm
U r Liable for Interest @ 1% Per month or part of the month

U have to pay with TDS as applicable + 1% interest per month (even day 1 of november will be counted as 1 month). TDS rate will be applicable as per nature of payment

It is depend upon expenditure for contractor it is 2.06%, commission 10.30%, rent 20.60%
Professional it is 10.30% Interest 20.60
