A Co-op Hsg Soc. is being repired( plastering, plumbing & painting)
payment made to contractor for the same must be tax deducted at source.
Q. at what rate should we deduct tax is it 2% for such contracting work?

ya co-op society should deduct 2% on credit or payment (whichever is earlier basis)
