14 February 2011For a payment of Rs 25000 (under contractual work) a company deducted 10% as TDS i.e. paid only rs 22,500
This is the only payment made to the person by that company in this Financial year.
AFAIK, the amount after which TDS is deducted is Rs 30,000. Please help.
Can it be requested to the company to release the rest of the payment?

If the Company already Deposited the Tds then you can claim only the Tds deducted,they will not refund the money.
so u will take claim of that tds in your return ,you hve no other way brother
