PLEASE CONTACT THE BANK FOR RECTIFICATION OF MISTAKE , GENERALLY THEY DONT RECTIFY AS THEY ALLREADY CREDIT THE AMOUNT FOR THE RESPECTIVE A.Y. IN THAT CASE YOU NEED TO DEPOSIT A NEW CHALLAN AND USE THE 2010-11 FOR THE CURRENT YEAR

The concerned bank also cannot able to help it out in this case. The Bank can do some favour if they are yet to upload the payment in OLTAS software. Once that process is completed, the amount remitted will go the credit of Central Government. Then it is impossible. It is as impossible as getting your own water poured in to reservoir.
The concerned deductee also cannot able to avail the credit as he will offer the relevant income in the AY 2009-2010 itself.
Thus the only way is to make another payment by mentioning the correct Assessment year to have a correct credit of TDS.

You should approach your Assessing Officer with an application containing the details of your PAN and the CIN and request him to carry out the necessary corrections.
