Hi, Our staff whose CTC near to 10lakhs expired this Month. What can we do on his Tax payment? We have decided to pay three months salary as a compensation to his wife. How it will be treated in Income tax? can any one give a correct suggession please.

Dear Sir,
Is it the policy of your company to give 3 months salary or this is an exceptional case?
