no, tds is not deducted on travelling expenses.

TDS SHALL BE DEDUCTED UNDER SEC 194C
@ 1% if he is individual of huf 44ab applicable)
any assessee engaged in the operation of carrying of passenger of leasing
(other than railway)
tds shall be deducted on following--
1) single contract is exceeding rs 30000 per person
2) aggregate contract is exceeding rs 100000..
