Anybody Advise on the below : -
I am working in a company and we have to pay freight daily basis. We received Bilty / GR of Transporter, but the owner of the Vehicle is not the Transfporter, owner is different.
The Owner of the Truck is provide Declarton that he is not owning more than 10 Truck. Basically in this case Transporter work as middle man between the truck owner and service receiver and Truck Owner is not having the Vehicle more than 10. But Bilty/GR which provided by the Truck Owner is of Transporter.
It is confusing, Truck Owner is providing declartion, but Transporter is not providing any declaration.
so please advse should we deduct TDS or Not.

Goods transporter gave declaration as owning less than ten vehicles , to complete customer requirement transporter hired vehicles on regular basis on the same is TDS chargeable ? or not

TDS not applicable. Our contract is with Transporter and if transporter give declaration for owning less than 10 vehicle in this case TDS is not applicable.

No, If transporter give declaration then no tds will be applicable. But we need to declare this Non Deduction details in quarterly returns.
