tds on service tax component

Please clarify whether TDS to made or not on the service tax component included in the invoice raised under sections 194C and 194J

Tax will be required to be deducted in all cases where TDS is applicable on the gross amount of the bill.

Hi, Tax has to be deducted on the Service tax included in the invoice raise u/s 194C and 194J. Also i have clarification in this respect from CIT(TDS).if anybody wants do let me know.

There are several cases in this matter. The TDS has to be deducted on gross amount charges which also includes the service tax components

TDS should be deducted inclusive of service tax. bcoz while reading the section, section says that tds should be deducted on credit given to party. you are giving credit to party inclusive of service tax only. hence, tds should be deducted on gross amount only, eventhough that is not an income to the party

when tds deduct we made entry freight a/c dr to party to sevice taxpayable to tds payable so ii clear tds will deduct on freigh amt
