Can any body help me out for the following query:
In case of Payment made of Rs.25000 ( Single Payment) in foreign currecny through credit card for Registration for Seminar to be attending outside India would be liable for TDS??

All the services would be provided outside india therfore TDS u/s 195 would not be deducted.
Pls correct me if I am wrong

Please note that if the knowledge gained from the Seminar is to be imparted in India then this may become liable to TDS in India.... Further, if the institution conducting seminar is having PE in India then this may lead to attribution of profits to Indian entity and hence may be construed as income liable to tax in India...Provisions of Section 195 can become applicable...

please tell under which services participation fee is consider. Techinal services or any other. for the purpose of TDS.
