Whether Tax Auditor has to check & insure TDS deducted on Salaries of Employeess correctly or not?
Or Whether He has just ensure the payment of Deducted TDS?

TDS on Salary

The tax auditor can check the details of TDS on salary from 4th Qtr return of form 24Q in which the auditor can see whether there was no shortfall in deduction of TDS on salary. This exercise would suffice.
And any delay in payment of TDS should be verified monthwise.
