when tds deducted on salary... at the time of payment or at the time or exps booked?

salary to be deducted only at the time of payment only u/s 192

TDS is to deducted at the time of payment or at the time it is provided in books , whichever is earlier

TDS should be deducted on payment basis only.

Usually you find salary providing for last month March. Bcoz company salary cycle is say 7th of every month then even though payment is on 7th April but salary expenditure considered by providing in current FY and not in next FY and TDS too deducted on it and shown payable in BS
