TDS ON SALARY

sir suppose we posted entry of salary with deduct the TDS as per applicable on dtd.7.4.19 for the month of March 19.so should I deduct the Tds on 31 March or 7.4.19

You should pass salary due entries at the end of each month and deposit the same on 7th of following month.

thanks sir but my question on TDS deduction on salary that I deduct TDS on due salary month or at the time of payment.becoz we paid salary 7 days after end of month.

Tax deduction is required to be made at the time of actual payment of salary irrespective you follow cash basis or mercantile system of accounting. But u might face technical issue if you file your salary tds return on actual paid basis.
