salary people can also file tds or not ? or directly deduct when they file income tax returns file

salaried person not file any tds return, tds filing is the duty of the employer, employee can adjust tds amount with total amount of tax payable by him and balance will be paid to the income tax department information related with tds can be generated from 26AS
