Tds on salary
CTC is Rs. 40000/- p.m. & in hand salary is rs. 34400/- after deducting both side EPF Rs. 1800/- each ,
1000/- for mediclaim Police by employer
1000/- for mobile bill paid by company .
Please tell me for income tax perpose what will be salary.
In my view 34400+1800 of employee contribution will be taxable salary.

You are right provided employer's PF contribution is limited to 12% of salary
