Is TDS attracted on repairs of plant & machinery( AMC is not thier only repairs )

It is not necessary that AMC should be there to attract the provisions of TDS.
Just a one time one work contract for repair or any other work would attract the provisions of TDS subject to conditions laid down under the income tax act 1961
Repairing will attract TDS provision but not on buying new spare parts.
