How to calculate TDS for rental income of Rs. 1,80,000/= in 2015-16. Is there basic exemption upto Rs. 1,80,000/=.

The topic says differently in two posts. If it is taken as rental income, then upto Rs. 1,80,000/= no TDS is required. But the other post says it will be treated as other income and subject to 30.9% TDS.
