If a partnership firm pays rent above Rs. 180000/- for place (commercial shop) to a person registered as AOP (association of persons). Does the partnership firm needs to deduct TDS?

yes have to deduct if more than 180/-

unlike huf and individual, partnership firm's do not have exemption for TDS irrespective of tax audit applicable or not
