Tds on rent

Hi All,

I wanted to know whether a partner, in his individual capacity, can pay rent of office space instead of the firm using the office space.

There are only 2 partners.

TDS shall get reduced from 10% (Firm) to 5% (Individual).

Is it doable? Or will there be repercussions?

Please provide your guidance.
