Tds on purchase of water bottel

Respected All Experts,

We purchasing Water bottles of ( 25 Liters jar ) for office Use. Amount to say that bill is around Rs. 11000/- per month.
is that transaction attract TDS 194C ( Contract)

Please guide me.

TDS not applicable for Purchase of any material or goods, it should be pure service.

Sec 194 C is attracted where there is an element of 'Works'.

In your case, there is an outright purchase, and no Works involved.

Hence, TDS is not applicable.
