Tax is deducted at source from hotel bills (room bills). However, if the payment is made thru corporate credit card and later claimed, should TDS be deducted on the same?

i think, as there a liability on the company to deduct tax, it is always good to deduct tax, whatever the mode of payment and however indirect the payment be, so, in my opinion, if the bill is in the name of the company, deduct tax.

If TDS is payable on same payment the mode of payment does not decide the deduction of TDS and hence TDS will be deducted on the same. I think u should make less payment and pay TDS.
