TDS on Payment To Non Resident

Dear all,

If TDS is not done on Payment to Non Resident, Is it permenently Disallowed?

Dear M.Manu,

If TDS is not deducted or deducted but not paid on payment to a Non-resident within the prescribed date, it would be disallowed u/s 40(a)(i) for that particular year.

However, the expense can be allowed in the year the TDS is actually paid.
