My company had a Staff Picnic wherein they are billed by the resort for Rs 73,488.
Kindly advise me whether TDS should be deducted or not?
If yes, Under what head of TDS the same shall be deduced?

yes tds will not be deductible. according to section 194i tds will be required when hotel accomodation taken on regular basis..
and refer circular no. 5/2002, dated 30july,2002.
